I decided to put all ISP/JTAG cable circuit diagrams (schematics) in one page for easy navigation. The schematics are gathered in the internet in various web pages and datasheets. Cables are not designed by me, but I made some of them and tested. These cables can be used to program various CPLD/FPGA chips and some Atmel AVR/ATMEGA mcus.
- Xilinx parallel III.
- AVR STK200.
- Xilinx JTAG.
- Altera ByteBlasterMV.
- AVRSP LPT.
- Lattice ISP.
- Lattice ISP. I made this one. It is working.
- STK200 ISP.
- Altera Byteblaster. I made this one too, but with small modification- I added addition 5V regulator and PSU connector. So I can power cable logic from external power supply. It is useful when programming 3V logic with 5V TTL tolerant pins.
Hello there,
Could you tell me what chips does this Lattice ISP support?
Which program can you use with it?
Thank you in advance!
Best wishes,
Andras
To Andras: what chips support? With ISP! What software? Software from Lattice Semiconductors website.
Hi
I am a beginner in Lattice devices.
I have some experiments on Xilinx.
Thank you for Lattice ISP programmer schematic.
I have a question:
Which software is needed to work with this programmer?
thanks
This post is very old. As I remember, I was using software from Lattice. Sorry, but I can not help you. Now I am using Altera devices.
I am a beginner in Altra and i want to program EPM5128 and also i have USB Blaster
(JTAG) but i don’t know which pins of IC i should connect JTAG.

Max5000 can be programmed only using old proprietary hardware programmer. Do not use such old shit. If you need 5v compatible logic, try some datasheet searching. There are some max series programmable with ISP and JTAG connections.
